New Adventures with Baratta in 2014 and 2015

During the last 3 years Baratta has continually deepened his work with people in private sessions by telephone and in person, bodywork sessions, workshops, and retreats. Over the last year and a half, Baratta has given several workshops and retreats for Spanish-speaking people, and many individuals are now receiving their private sessions in Spanish as well.

In July Baratta presented a special 3-day retreat in Spanish, in a whole new format, with a small group of 13 participants. The event was titled "Viaje de Sanación Sinergística" ("Journey of Synergistic Healing"), and it combined yoga, a rich experience of nature, delicious organic food, and very intimate healing work with Baratta. On each day of the retreat, Baratta focused on a specific level of healing: On day one we worked with healing the body; day two dealt with healing at the emotional level; and on day three Baratta worked with us on healing at the spiritual level, weaving the work of all three days together into a beautiful synergy of healing and growth.

The location at which we held this retreat is absolutely magical, in a healing retreat center called Nierika, which is nestled between beautiful cliffs high in the mountains of the State of Mexico. Adjacent to this site is the village of Chalma, which for hundreds of years has been an important spiritual center of healing for the indigenous people of Mexico. This place is rich with the beauty, love, and magic of nature.

Each day of the retreat, we began with an in-depth yoga session led by the wonderful yoga master Gaby Zermeño, who beautifully wove the yoga process into the theme that Baratta would work with each day. After a brief break we had a healing organic vegetarian breakfast which included fresh fruit and delicious organic eggs "a la Mexicana". After breakfast we began the time with Baratta, who talked about the focus of the day for about an hour, and then each person had the chance to speak directly with Baratta to explore their personal process within the day's focus of healing. After a delicious organic lunch and a break we had a deep healing meditation with Baratta, and later another short session of yoga followed by a light dinner. On Saturday night after dinner we sat around a wonderful fire and chatted for hours.

On the final day, before the meditation, Baratta introduced a new dimension in his work with us: In a beautiful ritual, he invited each participant to come and sit with him, one by one, as he talked quietly and touched lightly with that person for a few minutes while the rest of the group held the focus of sacredness in the room. After the retreat was over, several people in the group spoke of how impactful this deep, intense resonance of loving and healing was for them.

Many of the participants expressed how much they loved this new retreat format, and we are already beginning to plan our next Journey of Synergistic Healing in 2015. We will announce the dates as soon as we have them.

There Is More to Come

In April of 2015 Baratta will work with us in Yelapa, a Pacific coastal village near Puerto Vallarta, in another totally new kind of retreat called "Dolphins, Dreams, and Baratta" (in English). This amazing 5-day retreat will include actual swims with wild dolphins guided by Dolphin JAK and conscious lucid dream work facilitated by Virginia Palmer, PhD. ALL BARATTA PRIVATE SESSION RECORDINGS NOW DELIVERED VIA DOWNLOAD

After much consideration, I have decided to discontinue creating CD's for private sessions. There were many factors in the decision, but the elegance of the downloads for everyone concerned is the main reason. Most of you had already switched to downloads, and the complexities of creating and delivering the remaining CD's from my current location made it clear that now was the time to “make the leap.”

The cost of a bodywork session with Baratta is $270.00.

BARATTA MUSIC CD Many workshop attendees and private consultation clients have asked about the music Baratta uses in guided meditations. This exquisite music was recorded "live in-studio" by Tysa Goodrich.  She created this CD specifically for Baratta's use in his work, and it truly captures his essence. In the recording session, Tysa sat down at her music keyboards, connected psychically with Baratta's consciousness, and for the next hour this music flowed out of her spontaneously. After hearing this CD in meditations with Baratta, people have described it as "deeply impactful," "emotionally engaging," and "stunning."
